IPOT plus is now Zpot House! Still delicious nonetheless! Lunch special is $29.99 and dinner so far is $38.95!Anyways my bf and I came on a Wednesday night and it was not crowded at all. The place has very large seating areas like the booths were massive, love it. The service was really good since it's not as crowded but our waiter/server was amazing and always attentive to us. He always came by to check up on us and always answered our questions. We opted for the split pot! Szechuan spicy in one and spicy miso in the other. We would've definitely given the place a 5/5 if the broth was a little bit more flavorful. The Szechuan spicy was definite our favorite. It was spicy and delish, we even asked for more spicy. Now let me tell you about the meats, it was awesome because they had all of our go to meats like beef belly and rib eye. The pork belly here became my favorite after the beef belly! Definitely get the KOBE beef because it's pretty delish, it was my first time with Kobe beef so it seemed good to me as it just melts in your mouth and is super tender. Basically the menu has a pretty good selection and we were def satisfied with everything. Definitely a nice spot to get your hot pot fix with some nice vibes!

My family's favorite all-you-can-eat hot pot restaurant in the Bay Area! This place is such an underrated gem. With a huge menu with all different kinds of meats, veggies, seafoods, and a ton of different broth selections, this place's all-you-can-eat deal is very worth it. They also have really delicious baked goods and dishes that are included in the price as well. I always leave this place incredibly stuffed. The service here is quick, and despite it being a smaller restaurant, we don't usually need to wait in line. You can either choose a large traditional shared pot, or your own hot pot which is an added bonus that most places don't have. Definitely come here next time if you have the chance!

Hands down, one of my favorite hotpot/KBBQ restaurants when I'm visiting my in laws. I love that you get to do both hot pot or kbbq, but if you just want hotpot, you can do that also. There's a bunch of different options to choose from, meats, veggies, soup broths, even dim sum options! They have some items that are already cooked and some that you cook yourself. There's a self serve sauce bar where you can grab and make your dipping sauce to your liking. Along with some fruits and jello. Service is always super friendly and accommodating. I recommend coming right when they open because they can get packed. Don't be confused because the front of the restaurant says "ZPOT" but you're in the right spot!

After 2+ years, I finally found my way back to IPOT Plus for a lunch. It's an AYCE hot pot + kbbq for $38.95. While it's pricier than some other hot pot spots in the area, I believe the higher price tag is worth it if you know what to order. I went with the spicy miso and mushroom broth. The spicy miso was cool, but I should've gone with the the Sichuan hot instead. The mushroom broth didn't have much flavor at all, but it was good enough. Their menu had a bunch of quality meats that I enjoyed. From the american ribeye, american Kobe beef, and New Zealand lamb, all were pretty tasty once in the pot. They got all your basic hot pot veggies like cabbage, baby bok choy, etc. Hot pot is when I eat the most veggies, so I can say i ate enough greens for the day. Their biang biang noodles are pretty good, and is one of those things that not a bunch of places have, so it's always ordered. What I really enjoy is their hot appetizers. The xlbs, chinese donuts and crab rangoons were good. I got chicken wings on accident, and they were the tiniest wings I've ever seen lol Definitely not something I'd get again. They also have these lamb skewers which are hella good. I remembered these from my first visit here years ago, it used to AYCE, but now you are limited to a single order per person. The waiter was kind enough to grab me an extra order, which I appreciated. Another reason I like this place is because of their build-your-own sauce bar. Lots of good options and flavors and as someone who is obsessed with sauces and dips, I like that I have the option to customize. For me, this was another solo hot pot adventure. I love going solo because I like to be able to get two different broths of my choosing. When I went to order it, they said because I was a solo diner, I could only choose one. Which IMO made no sense because on the menu, it gives an option for a single or dual broth pot. They said if I wanted the two different broths, it would be $5 more. On the receipt it was charged as a 'change pot' fee. I paid it because it was what I wanted, but I definitely didn't feel like it was necessary. I've done solo hot pots in many other places and never ran into this issue. Not a dealbreaker for me, but for other solo diners, this is what you can expect. Overall I'd be back. Definitely on my top 3 AYCE spots in the Peninsula

Thank you to the staff at IPOT. This was my first time here. My son and his girlfriend come here all the time and we came out with our family to celebrate my son and daughters birthday. My daughter came from Sacramento and we live in Concord my son lives in Richmond so we all came from far away. I made reservations for 5 pm because I didn't know if we would be able to get a table for 9 people. My son was 15-20 mins late due to traffic. At first the guy said they would wait 10 minutes to my daughter when she asked if she can wait to order. I kinda got annoyed with that but I understand they are running on a time limit. They first put us at a booth and I didn't really like that due to the fact we would all be squished and too far ( second table) aside from us but we moved to the other room where you have your own little area to cook your food in front of you. The other tables were much better! I wish we didn't live so far away because this by far was definitely better than the other places we've been to! The slices of meat are HUGE (thin but really big) the fresh noodles they make are really good too! Everything was good. It took a minute for some of our stuff to come out and I think they forgot about my daughter udon noodles but when we asked they brought it out right away! They even gave us paper plates and a knife for our cake we brought when I asked for plates and a knife to cut the cake. Thank you so much we had a nice time there. They didn't rush us to leave either! I appreciated the service and my son said the guy who gave us ice cream was the owner. I didn't catch his name but thank you for everything! If we are In the are I will definitely come back.
